Baylor Law Announces Participation in ‘Giving Day, 2021’
WACO, Texas -
Baylor Giving Day is a university-wide, 24-hour fundraising event scheduled to be held on April 14, 2021. Baylor Giving Day provides alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, and students an opportunity to be a part of Baylor’s future and impact existing and new programs, student scholarships and priority funds across the University.
Baylor Law has selected two programs to the be focus of its Giving Day efforts in 2021:
- The Allison Dickson Baylor Law Endowed Scholarship Fund. Established in 2016, the endowed scholarship is available to deserving students at Baylor Law.
- Baylor Law Career Development Stipend. This newly established stipend fund at Baylor Law supports students taking short-term internships or summer jobs with governmental or non-profit organizations. Michelle May O’Neil (JD ’91) of O'Neil Wysocki P.C. has created a challenge grant of $5,000 to support this new endeavor – and challenges other Baylor Lawyers to do the same.
