Admissions Policies
Admission to Baylor Law School is based on the applicant’s perceived ability to succeed in law school and the practice of law and upon the applicant’s potential contributions to the law school community and the profession.
While your GPA and LSAT scores are significant, we review each application holistically. We also consider your personal statement, letters of recommendation, résumé, optional statements, and interview notes as crucial elements in our decision-making process.
We also consider your motivation to study law, work experience, career goals, academic achievements, leadership, community involvement, background, and ability to overcome adversity. Special skills, like bilingual abilities, advocacy, or technical training, are also valued. The Committee wants to hear how your unique background can positively impact our law school and alumni community.
