PawPrints & Printing Resources
This page contains information that is specific to Baylor Law School students.
PawPrints is Baylor University’s student printing service, offering convenient access to more than 150 printers across campus and the law school without the need for individual printer installations.
At Baylor Law School, students can use the specialized PawPrints_Law service, linked to printers within the law school. When ready to print, students can select from the PawPrints or PawPrints_Law queues, depending on their location, and release their jobs via a computer browser or a mobile device. With the Paw Prints Release, print jobs are stored for 24 hours, allowing students the flexibility to retrieve their documents from any printer at their convenience.
Please note: PawPrints only works from Baylor University wired or wireless networks. WebPrint or off-campus printing to Baylor Printers is not available.

Using PawPrints (After Initial Installation and Setup)
The PawPrints App must be running to print to PawPrints printers.
When you’re ready to print, choose the PawPrints_Law print queue (or any of Main Campus’s four PawPrints queues) and then use your mobile device (or computer browser) to “Release” your print job to the specific printer you’d like to use (destination printer).
PawPrints Release will store your jobs for 24 hours, so you can submit your jobs now and release them later to pick them up on any printer at your convenience throughout the day.
Baylor Law School-specific PawPrints Information:
Low-Cost Printing to Law School Printers
(Price for law school students to print to printers at the Law Center)
- Black & White: $0.02 per page
- Color: $0.08 per page
- Duplex Discount: 50% off the cost of every other page when printing double-sided
Higher Cost for Printing to Main Campus Printers
(Price for law school students to print to printers on the Baylor University campus, except law school printers)
- Black & White: $0.07 per page
- Color: $0.28 per page
- Duplex Discount: 50% off every other page when printing double-sided
Quarterly Printing Balances
- Each law student’s PawPrints account is credited $30 per quarter (equivalent to 1,500 B&W pages or 375 color pages).
- Additional pages are credited to specific groups:
- PC Students: $18 (900 B&W pages or 225 color pages)
- Teams: $6 (300 B&W pages or 75 color pages)
- Assistants: $6 (300 B&W pages or 75 color pages)
- MBA Students: $25 (1,250 B&W pages or 312 color pages)
- Maximum Balance: User balances can accumulate up to $85, equivalent to 4,250 B&W pages or 1,062 color pages.
Requesting Additional Pages
- If you need more pages, email baylorlawit@baylor.edu explaining the reason and the number of pages requested.
- Approved requests are processed within two business days.
- Note: You must have $1.00 or less remaining in your balance before requesting an increase.
Important Notes
- Once your PawPrints balance reaches $0, you won’t be able to print for at least two business days.
- Law students are exempt from campus-wide PawPrints quotas and timelines.
- PawPrints uses a currency/unit-based system for accounting instead of counting individual pages.
