Centered around Women’s History Month, this event is designed to provide a valuable learning experience for students and alumni alike about Finding your path in the diversity of the legal landscape. The event will include, in addition to students, Alumni invited through the Office of Alumni Relations, and available female faculty. Before the event begins, we will offer an hors d'oeuvres buffet for the students, alumni, and faculty in attendance. This event is split into two parts: a table discussion and a panel discussion.

This seminar will discuss an overview of Employment law as it relates to LGBTQ+ rights. We will discuss the foundational principles of Employment discrimination laws, as well as the more specific concerns that employers and employee should consider when dealing with LGBTQ+ individuals. The seminar will also discuss the ever-changing landscape this area presents both due to its cultural relevance, as well as the changing federal administration.
