Getting to Know Dylan Mayne

Why did you choose Baylor Law?

I chose Baylor Law because I wanted my law school experience to be practical while keeping the Christian mission of serving others at the forefront of legal education. 

What do you plan to do after graduation?

I aspire to join the Coast Guard JAG Corps. I had the opportunity to intern with the Air Force JAG during my 1L summer and loved every second of it. I always knew I wanted to serve my country, and having grown up on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, being a guardsman will be a natural fit for me.

What do you do for fun, and what all are you involved with at Baylor Law?

I have a dog named Scout, so you will often see me around campus or in Cameron Park walking with her.  I am a part of the Baylor Law Review, a member of the Student Bar Association, and a member of the Christian Legal Society.
