Purpose
Baylor Law School has a longstanding tradition of training students for excellence in trial advocacy. The Leon Jaworski Scholarship for Outstanding Undergraduate Advocates is designed to recognize incoming students who have demonstrated strong advocacy skills and wish to further develop them at Baylor Law.
Thanks to the generosity of the Leon Jaworski Foundation, this full-tuition scholarship is awarded to students with a proven track record in undergraduate advocacy. Relevant experience may include participation in debate, mock trials, moot court, or other oral advocacy competitions.
Scholarship recipients will have the opportunity to build on their experiences through Baylor Law's nationally recognized trial advocacy program. This program helps students develop the skills, judgment, and confidence necessary to represent clients effectively and ethically.
Students who have excelled in undergraduate advocacy are encouraged to apply for the Leon Jaworski Scholarship to continue honing their skills at Baylor Law.
