Ready to showcase your skills in the courtroom? At Baylor Law School, you can become part of our prestigious mock trial teams, gain invaluable experience, sharpen your advocacy skills, and compete against top law schools nationwide.
How to Qualify:
- Eligibility: Participate in at least one internal moot court competition before trying out for the mock trial teams.

- Notifications: Look out for an email from Baylor Law announcing tryout dates and instructions.
Selection Process: After tryouts, select faculty members and coaches carefully evaluate each student’s performance. Once the selections are made, students will receive a notice with their team status.
3L Students: Practice Court Evaluations For 3L students, standout performances in Practice Court advocacy exercises—including opening statements, direct and cross-examinations, and mini-trials—may be reviewed by Practice Court faculty as part of the mock trial team selection process.
