This annual competition is open to all Baylor Law students and challenges you to analyze a complex set of materials and create a real-world legal document based on a prompt. It’s a great way to sharpen your legal writing, gain practical experience, and stand out. Did we mention there are cash prizes for the winners? In support of Baylor Law’s reputation as a practical, practice-ready law school, the Charles and Lisa Endowed Fund for Excellence in Writing at Baylor Law is created to support the enhanced and intentional efforts to teach, mentor, and develop distinctive and quality legal writing. In addition, Charlie and Lisa’s purpose is to elevate and engrain in students a desire to hone writing skills.
