The Ultimate Writer Competition
Showcase your legal writing skills!
The Ultimate Writer, hosted by Baylor Law’s Legal Writing Program, is an annual competition that challenges students to showcase their legal writing prowess in a practical setting. Open to all Baylor Law students, this competition requires participants to analyze a complex packet of materials and craft a real-world legal document based on a writing prompt. It’s a unique opportunity to sharpen your skills and gain hands-on experience in legal drafting.
The competition is made possible through the generous support of Lisa and Charlie Frazier (‘86) of Alexander Dubose Jefferson LLP, via their Endowed Fund for Excellence in Writing, and Kirk Pittard (’99) with Durham, Pittard & Spalding LLP.
