The Reference Librarian is available to provide legal research assistance, to help library users locate information, and to answer questions about the library collection. However, the Reference Librarian does not provide substantive legal advice or interpret legal materials. Reference assistance to individuals outside the Baylor academic community is provided to the extent possible, prioritizing Baylor Law School students and faculty.
The Reference Office is staffed from Monday through Friday during regular business hours. For further information, please call 254.710.4587.
The Circulation Department is located on the first floor, just to the left of the main entrance. The Circulation Desk is staffed at all times. Library users may consult our Circulation staff to check out and return materials, ask about frequently requested items' locations, and inquire about study rooms and other library services. Please see the Borrowing and Interlibrary Loan section on the Policies and Information page for information on borrowing policies.
For more in-depth research assistance, please see the Reference Librarian.
The Circulation Department provides interlibrary loan services for Baylor Law School students and faculty seeking materials unavailable in our collection. For further information, please see the Borrowing and Interlibrary Loan section on the Policies and Information page. Please get in touch with the Reference Librarian at 254.710.4587 or the circulation desk at 254.710.2168 for assistance with interlibrary loan requests. Users requesting items will be responsible for any applicable fees.
The Law Library provides a comfortable study space for all law students. Before leaving the library, library materials should be reshelved and personal items removed from all seating and study areas.
The Baylor Law Library has four rooms on the second floor (with more coming soon) that may be used for law students' individual and group study. (203F, 203H, 203M, and 203N)
Baylor undergraduate and graduate students may use the Law Library for legal research. However, they are not permitted to study in the Law Library and may be asked to leave the premises at the discretion of the library staff.

A photocopier is in room 106A in the Reserve Area of the Law Library. It accepts coins and $1 and $5 bills. A microform reader-printer is available in the room housing the microform collection. Please contact the circulation desk if you have any problems while using either machine.
Law students are allocated a certain number of print jobs per quarter and may also use the Lexis printer near the Reference Office. For further information, please contact the Information Technology staff in the Academic Success Office.
