Baylor Lawyer Tristan Kaisharis, JD '20, Returns as Adjunct Professor to Teach Venture Capital
"The Transactional Law Program at Baylor Law School set me up for success in numerous ways, most notably by providing practical, hands-on experience through repetitive, real-world scenarios. As a mid-level associate at Winstead PC in the Emerging and Mid-Market Companies group within the Corporate, Securities, and M&A practice, my work primarily involves buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions from seed through exit, and general corporate governance for emerging growth clients. The rigorous training I received at Baylor Law School, under the guidance of Professors Elizabeth Miller and Allen Page, enabled me to begin my career performing at a level typically seen in attorneys with several years of experience."
"I am beyond excited to give back to Baylor Law School by teaching the Venture Capital course again after its hiatus over the past few years. It was one of my favorite courses as a student, and the knowledge I gained has been invaluable in my current practice. I hope the course will provide students with an informative overview of an expansive—yet rarely taught—area of law, and help ensure they are practice-ready as they begin their careers as Baylor Lawyers."
