Robert Little, JD '05, Director of Advocacy Programs and Senior Lecturer at Baylor Law School, has been awarded the Cornerstone Award at the recent Educating Advocacy Teachers (EATS) Conference, hosted by Stetson University College of Law. The EATS Conference is a nationally recognized annual gathering of leading advocacy educators, designed to foster innovation in trial advocacy instruction through workshops, panels, and peer-led sessions.

The Cornerstone Award recognizes individuals who have made a lasting impact on the advocacy community through their unwavering commitment to protecting the right to trial by jury, developing innovative advocacy training opportunities, and supporting the success of others in the field. Little was honored for his dedication to preparing advocates, his leadership in advancing trial advocacy education, and his contributions to the broader advocacy teaching community.

In addition to receiving the award, he presented at the conference, sharing insights on advocacy training methods with fellow educators and practitioners.

“Robert Little’s contributions reflect the core values of Baylor Law’s advocacy program: thoughtful instruction, practical training, and a commitment to student success,” said Baylor Law Dean Jeremy Counseller. “This national recognition highlights his role in strengthening advocacy education and preparing the next generation of practice-ready lawyers.”

Little now joins a distinguished group of Cornerstone Award recipients whose work has had a lasting impact on advocacy education nationwide.
