Getting to Know Koy Wilson
Why did you choose Baylor Law?
I chose Baylor Law because of its prestige. Everybody knows what to expect from a Baylor Law graduate. I hoped to be pushed to a degree that other schools could not offer.
What is your favorite thing about Baylor Law?
My favorite thing about Baylor Law is how friendly everybody is. My classmates and professors encourage everybody to do well.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
After graduation, I hope to be an Intellectual Property Litigator. During the 2026 Summer, I interned at Winston Taylor as an IP Litigation Summer Associate, gaining experience in a wide range of intellectual property matters.
What advice would you give to someone thinking about law school?
The advice I would give to someone considering law school is to accept that everybody will be challenged there. No undergraduate degree can truly prepare you for the difficulty of law school. Knowing that topics may not "click" immediately helps you mentally prepare.
