Getting to Know Matthew Brigman

Why did you choose Baylor Law?

Baylor Law’s intensity and focus on producing practice-ready attorneys appealed to my background, values, and future goals. It felt like home from my very first visit, and Baylor is also so supportive of its military-affiliated students.  

What do you plan to do after graduation (and feel free to include any information about your internships)?

I’ve been involved with SBA since my second quarter, and I serve as Treasurer of the Business Law Society. For fun, I try to be as physically active as I can, including working out every day and spending time outside with friends as much as possible. 

What advice would you give to someone thinking about law school?

My advice for anyone considering law school is to find your "why" for pursuing a J.D. and consider how hard you’re willing to work to make that goal a reality. Law School is incredibly demanding but even more rewarding.
