Richard A. Henderson, JD ’78, has been named First Assistant District Attorney for Johnson and Somervell Counties.

Peter Rusek, JD ’84, has been appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to serve as judge of 74th Judicial District Court in McLennan County.

The Honorable Laura Enriquez, JD ’96, was sworn in as the newest federal magistrate judge in the Western District of Texas.

Brooks Moore, JD ’98, was named General Counsel of The Texas A&M University System, completing Chancellor Glenn Hegar’s leadership team.

Christopher B. Trowbridge, BBA ’95, JD ’98, was recognized in the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in recognition of his legal excellence.

Dan Sorey, JD ’03, was named to the Texas Super Lawyers list for the sixth consecutive year and recognized in the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for plaintiffs personal injury litigation.

Scott Snellings, BA ’00, JD ’04, has been selected as one of only 41 individuals to serve as a Texas Bar Foundation Nominating Chair for 2025–2026.

R. Heath Cheek, JD ’06, was recognized in the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in recognition of his legal excellence.

Kristopher D. Hill, JD ’08, was recognized in the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in recognition of his legal excellence.
