Baylor Law School Professor Thomas “Tom” Featherston, JD ’72: In October 2025, Tom received the Champion of Christian Service award from Mission Waco | World for his ongoing work serving veterans.

Carmen E. Eiker, JD ’78: Carmen was named to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Family Lawyers in America guide, the 2025 Texas Super Lawyers® list, and the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® for her work in Family Law, Collaborative Law, Mediation, and Arbitration.

Keith M. Nelson, BA ’79, JD ’83: Keith was named to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Family Lawyers in America guide.

Brett B. Flagg, BBA ’81, JD ’83: In October 2025Brett was reappointed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to the Texas Mutual Insurance Company Board of Directors.

Blake W. Barrow, JD ’88: In October 2025, Blake was featured in The State of BBQ: A Texas Monthly Special.

Janette L. (Harvey) Baldwin, JD ’89: In October 2025, Janette received the Champion of Christian Service award from Mission Waco | World for her ongoing work serving veterans.

Caren K. Lock, JD ’95: Caren was recognized by the Dallas Regional Chamber as the 2025 recipient of the ATHENA® Award.

Allen H. Rustay, JD ’97: Allen was named to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America guide.

Baylor Law School Professor Bridget M. Fuselier, JD ’98: In October 2025, Bridget received the Champion of Christian Service award from Mission Waco | World for her ongoing work serving veterans.

Joshua “Josh” Fogelman, JD ’08: In October 2025, Josh was recognized on the 2025 Texas Super Lawyers® list for the fourth consecutive year.

Baylor Law School’s Director of Clinical & Pro Bono Programs Joshua “Josh” Borderud, JD ’09:  In October 2025, Josh received the Champion of Christian Service award from Mission Waco | World for his ongoing work serving veterans.

Brittany Ringel Walton, JD ’09: In October 2025, Brittany received the Corporate Counsel of the Year Award from the Texas Bar Membership Connections Program (TMCP). Brittany is Lead Litigation Counsel and Head of U.S. Disputes at LyondellBasell.

John D. L. Bradley, JD ’10: In October 2025, John joined MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, as Senior Legal Officer, Supply Chain. 

Aaron J. Von Flatern, JD ’11: In October 2025, Aaron was recognized on the 2025 Texas Super Lawyers® list for the fourth consecutive year.

Matthew “Matt” Greenberg, JD ’14: In October 2025Matt partnered with Mike Streich to form Greenberg Streich, PLLC, a Texas-based trial law firm in Houston, Texas.

Jacob C. Jeffries, JD ’14: Jacob was named to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Family Lawyers in America guide.

Neyma E. Figueroa, JD ’15: In October 2025, Neyma was appointed by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to the Texas Energy Reliability Council.

Alvaro “Al” Silverio, JD ’19: Al was recognized on the 2025 Texas Super Lawyers® “Rising Stars” list.

Matthew “Matt” Morian, JD ’19: In October 2025, Matt was named a partner at Morian-Kahla Law Firm in Jasper, Texas.   

Samantha “Sami” Shaffer, JD ’23: In October 2025, Sami was promoted to felony prosecutor at the Collin County District Attorney’s Office in McKinney, Texas.

Ashley C. Tran, JD ’24: In October 2025, Ashley joined Bourland, Wall & Wenzel in Fort Worth, Texas, as an associate attorney.

Daniel "Dan" Marasa, JD ’25: In October 2025, Dan joined Haley & Olson, P.C. in Waco, Texas, as an associate attorney.
