Clay Davis, JD ’14, has joined Steptoe & Johnson as Of Counsel in San Antonio, Texas.

Heather Bell, JD ’16, has joined Steptoe & Johnson as Of Counsel in Dallas, Texas.

Logan Adcock, BA ’11, JD ’14, a Shareholder in Munsch Hardt’s Dallas office, has been appointed a Co-Chair of the Firm’s Construction Practice.

Amy Wren, JD ’13, was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott as the District Attorney of the 159th Judicial District in Angelina County.   

Juan Antonio Solis, JD’20, was awarded the Young Lawyer Pro Bono Service Award by the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.

The Honorable Shashi H. Kewalramani, JD ’96, joined JAMS in Orange County after serving as a U.S. magistrate judge for the Central District of California.

Marisa M. Allen, JD ’02, was recognized on the Best Lawyers in America 2026 List as one of the nation’s top legal practitioners for her work in personal injury litigation for plaintiffs and for appellate practice.

Jared Wilkinson, JD ’16, was recognized on the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch 2026 guide for both his commercial litigation and appellate work.

Joseph Shaneyfelt, JD ’19, has accepted a new position at International Capital as General Counsel and Director of Business Affairs in Dallas, Texas. 

Constantine “Dean” Pamphilis, JD ’95, has joined Sheppard Mullin’s Business Trial practice group in Houston, Texas.

James Ray, JD ’11, was recognized in the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America directory for Litigation, Intellectual Property and Litigation, and Real Estate.

Jonathan J. Bates, BBA ’90, JD ’93, was the 2025 recipient of the Dan Price Award from the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, recognizing significant impact on the Family Law Section for the past year. He was also the co-recipient of the President’s Award for 2025 from the Texas Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

Andrew Petersen, JD ’10, was recognized by Attorney Intel as one of the Top 25 Transportation Attorneys of 2025.
