Professional Development Program (PDP) seminars, faculty, staff, and student organizations regularly host academic, social, professional, and service-oriented events for students to engage in.

Baylor Law is committed to bringing engaging to campus speakers who have positive, constructive, responsible, ethical, and professional viewpoints to share in a venue marked by civility, factual accuracy, open-mindedness, and mutual respect. (There are also some restrictions regarding those who are political office holders or those seeking to attain a political office. Please see below for more information in the affirmations section.)

To ensure effective coordination of events and campus resources, all student organizations seeking to host an event, whether on or off campus, must submit a Speaker and Event Request Form. Organizations should not invite speakers or begin official event planning until the event has been approved by the Student Life Office (for general student organization events) or the PDP Committee (for PDP proposals).
