Sam Hays
Beard Kultgen Brophy Bostwick & Dickson, PLLC

Sam Hays is a Waco native who joined Beard Kultgen Brophy Bostwick & Dickson, PLLC in 2010 and was named partner in 2014. He graduated from Baylor University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. He continued his studies at Baylor University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor degree cum laude. While attending Baylor Law, Sam was awarded the Loy M. Simpkins Memorial Award for his academic achievement in marital property law and was nominated for the American College of Bankruptcy Distinguished Bankruptcy Law Student Award. Prior to joining the Firm, Sam played professional baseball for five years in the Seattle Mariners organization. Sam was the Seattle Mariners' first pick in the 2000 Major League Baseball Draft.
Sam and his wife Julie reside in Waco with their three children.
