Mark Altman

Mark Altman is based in the Waco office of Naman Howell. His practice focuses on general civil litigation and small business advice. Prior to joining Naman Howell, Mark served as a member of the US Navy JAG Corps working various times as a prosecutor, defense attorney, and staff judge advocate. He currently serves as a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy JAGC Reserves.
Mark is very active in the legal community of Waco. He volunteers as legal counsel at the Baylor Law School Veterans Clinic, where he was recognized by the Texas Supreme Court for his efforts providing pro bono legal services on behalf of indigent veterans. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the Texas Young Lawyers Association and teaches Mock Trial for Baylor Law School as adjunct faculty.
Mark simultaneously obtained a Masters in Business Administration and a Juris Doctor degree from Baylor Hankamer School of Business and Baylor Law School. He is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Astronautics.
