Lotte Bostick

Lotte Bostick, in addition to serving as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Accounting and Business Law at Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business, is an affiliated faculty member of the Law School. She began her career with Haley & Olson, P.C. in Waco, Texas. While with Haley & Olson, Lotte represented banks, businesses, and individuals in loan, real estate, and business-related transactions. Prior to attending law school, Lotte was a practicing CPA with Arthur Andersen in Houston, Texas. In 1999, Lotte chose to move to an in-house counsel position with then-client, FirstCity Financial Corporation, where she served as Assistant General Counsel and General Counsel. FirstCity Financial Corporation invested in distressed assets in the United States, Europe, Mexico, and South America. While with FirstCity, Lotte oversaw corporate governance, risk management, finance transactions, litigation management, and regulatory compliance while representing FirstCity in asset purchases, entity formation and management, asset resolution, and administrative matters. Lotte currently teaches Business Law Courses at the Hankamer Business School and consults with Trimont Real Estate Advisors, LLC out of Atlanta, Georgia.
