Kristopher Ruiz
Cole Schotz
Kristopher Ruiz is currently a litigation and intellectual property associate at Cole Schotz's Dallas office, where he primarily focuses on commercial litigation. Prior to joining Cole Schotz, Kristopher served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Amos L. Mazzant, III in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Kristopher is a double bear, graduating from Baylor University with a degree in political science in 2019 and from Baylor Law School in 2022. He is a recipient of the Leon Jaworski Scholarship for Outstanding Undergraduate Advocates and he graduated cum laude from Baylor Law with a special distinction in litigation.
During his time at Baylor Law, Kristopher was heavily involved with the advocacy program. He participated on numerous mock trial and moot court teams, while also serving as an assistant coach to the Baylor Undergraduate Mock Trial team. In doing this, he had the opportunity to present arguments before the Texas Supreme Court, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, and the Third Court of Appeals. Now, he enjoys assisting Baylor Law's advocacy program as a coach, helping current law students prepare for competition.
