Kristopher Ruiz
Cole Schotz
Kristopher Ruiz is an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Intellectual Property Departments. He primarily focuses on commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Cole Schotz, Kristopher served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Amos L. Mazzant, III in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Kristopher graduated cum laude from Baylor Law School, where he earned a special distinction in litigation, served as a Notes & Comments Editor for the Baylor Law Review, participated on numerous mock trial and moot court teams, and was an officer for various student organizations. Kristopher also had a chance to serve as a judicial intern to the Honorable Ignacio Torteya, III, Magistrate Judge in the Southern District of Texas.
Kristopher is also an adjunct professor at Baylor Law School, where he coaches some of Baylor’s mock trial teams and assist those students in preparing for competition.
