Conner Sheets
Dallas County DA's Office
Currently a prosecutor in the Dallas County DA’s Office, Conner Sheets graduated from Baylor Law School in May of 2021. During his time in law school, Conner participated in multiple Mock Trial and Moot Court teams, earning several distinctions (most centered around Evidence). While a student, Conner also interned for Beth Toben in the Limestone County Attorney’s Office to learn about being an effective prosecutor.
After becoming a “capital ‘BL’ Baylor Lawyer”, Conner went on to join the Kaufman County DA’s Office. Conner worked his way from the Misdemeanor division, through Juvenile, and into a Felony trial court. Also during this time, Conner co-authored an appellate brief for one of his felony DWI Trials which led to the Dallas Court of Appeals upholding the defendant’s 35-year sentence. During his time in both the Kaufman and Dallas, Conner also served as an assistant coach for the Baylor Undergraduate Mock Trial team. With 15 jury trials behind him, Conner hopes to be able to help new Baylor Lawyers hone the skills they need to be successful in the courtroom.
