Employment
- As Civil Division Chief for Williamson County, Ariane serves as legal counsel for the County, representing Williamson County and its Elected Officials in civil litigation claims in both state and federal court on a variety of issues involving county government and the span of its authority, tort claims, civil rights, employment law, public information and elections law.
- She is responsible for supervising and overseeing all aspects of the Civil Division in the County Attorney’s Office, which includes the following five divisions: Mental Health, Civil Litigation, Public Information, Juvenile, and Child Protective Services.
- She also meets regularly with law enforcement agencies, advises and informs them on civil issues regarding writs of executions and other civil matters, and assists them with high level felony offenses. She prepares training materials for educational purposes education to law enforcement agencies on pertinent legislative changes that affect juvenile law.
- Most recently, Ariane has been busy handling
- a capital murder
- Williamson County’s first deadly juvenile fentanyl overdose case,
- and a civil lawsuit against the Office of the Attorney General regarding elections law where she prevailed in oral arguments over dueling motions for summary judgement.
- In her spare time, Ariane enjoys running, hiking with her yorkie Tuff Teddy, and golfing with her husband.
