More than 100 Baylor Law students and 17 faculty members—including Dean Jeremy Counseller—gathered for HEAL’s Annual Trivia Night. The result? A sold-out venue, $2,000 raised, and a powerful show of solidarity among students, professors, and the broader Waco community.

This spring, Baylor Law School students once again demonstrated their commitment to service and access to justice through their volunteer work with three of our legal clinics—Veterans, Estate Planning, and Trial Advocacy. Under the guidance of dedicated faculty, staff, and volunteer local attorneys, these students provided critical legal services to some of the most vulnerable members of our Central Texas community.

Two Baylor Law School students have been recognized by the Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation (DHLF) for their academic achievements, service to the Hispanic community, and steadfast commitment to increasing access to justice. 2L Julia Incerpi Diaz and 1L Cristy Lopez Aguilar were each selected as 2025 recipients of DHLF awards, given annually to promising Hispanic law students across Texas.
