Trey Torres
- Transactional Law Associate
Trey currently serves as Baylor Law’s Business and Transactional Law Associate. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Russian from the University of North Texas. At North Texas, he was actively involved in Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity, serving as Vice President and leading philanthropy efforts to support various charities across Texas.
Trey received his Juris Doctor from Baylor Law in 2024, during which he was an engaged member of the Business Law Society and the Hispanic American Law Students Association. He represented Baylor Law in several national transactional competitions and conducted research for Baylor’s transactional competition, The Closer. Trey also gained valuable business and transactional law experience through summer clerkships with prominent law firms in Dallas, where he focused on corporate, real estate, and estate planning law.
In his new role, Trey is committed to advancing the business and transactional law program under the guidance of Professor Elizabeth Miller. He is passionate about supporting students’ growth through transactional law competition opportunities and the Entrepreneurship Clinic, guided by Professor Allen Page. Trey is dedicated to fostering a dynamic learning environment that equips students with practical experience and prepares them for successful business and transactional law careers.
Outside of work, Trey loves spending time with his wife, Haley, a dedicated kindergarten teacher whom he met during their college years at North Texas. Together with their long-haired dachshund, Kaiser, they enjoy exploring the local area and spending quality time with family and friends.
