Education Programs
Baylor Law School
sponsors the annual General Practice Institute, which often draws more
than 100 attorneys from Waco and central Texas. The program is
co-sponsored by the Waco-McLennan County Bar Association, and the State
Bar of Texas General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Section.
General Practice Institute programs have been approved for 5.75 C.L.E. hours, with 1.5 hours of ethics.
The presentations from the
Institute have been used as the basis for online CLE courses cosponsored
by Baylor Law School and available from
CLEOnline.com.
Two seminars are currently available online:

Family Law Update, What You Don't Know CAN Hurt
You (Video Included). The instructor/moderator for this
online CLE presentation is Ike Vander Eykle, a 1973 graduate of Baylor
Law School and partner in the firm of Koons, Fuller, Vanden Eykel &
Robertson, in Dallas. 1.0 Hours Participatory CLE Credits, none in
legal ethics.

Summary of Texas Legal Malpractice Law (Video
Included). The instructor/moderator for this program is
Steve McConnico, a 1976 graduate of Baylor Law School, and partner in
the firm of Scott, Douglass & McConnico, L.L.P. in Austin. 1.0
Hours Participatory CLE Credits, all in legal ethics.
