Areas of Concentration

Baylor Law School provides students with the opportunity to gain exposure to one of six specialized areas of practice by completing an area of concentration.  These areas of concentration build upon the foundational theory and doctrine of the first two years of law school.  The experience culminates in the performance, through externships or skills exercises, of specialized lawyering tasks under the direct supervision of accomplished lawyers.  While law students are not required to complete areas of concentration, they are highly encouraged to do so.
