General Instructions for Completing Baylor Law School’s Electronic Application ("e-app")

Please do not exit the electronic application before you have clicked "Submit".

The $40.00 application fee is waived if you submit a complete e-app and follow all of the instructions listed below. 

1.  The e-app, personal statement and all supporting materials must be received on the application deadline date.

November 1, 2008   for Spring 2009
November 1, 2008   for Early Decision Program for Fall 2009
February 1, 2009   for Summer 2009
March 1, 2009   for Regular Decision Program for Fall 2009

Applications submitted after an application deadline date will be processed and reviewed by the Admissions Committee; however, we recommend submitting your application as early as possible.

2. Resume- Baylor Law School no longer requires applicants to submit a resume.  This information is now asked for on the application form.  However, if you would like to submit one, you can mail a hardcopy to:

3. Your Personal Statement must be included with your electronic application.

4. When you are completing the e-app, use the tab key, not the return key, to go to the next field.  Using the return key will submit your application. 

5. Complete the electronic application in normal case letters (i.e. John Doe, 1400 South Fifth Street, Waco, TX 76798).  DO NOT USE all upper case letters (i.e. JOHN DOE, 1400 SOUTH FIFTH STREET, WACO, TX 76798) or all lower case letters (i.e. john doe, 1400 south fifth street, waco, tx 76798).

6. You must fill out the entire application and submit it during one online session.  You will receive a confirmation on your browser stating that your e-app has been received shortly after your have submitted your e-app.  As a result, do not close out of your browser until you receive the confirmation.  If  you do not immediately receive a confirmation page on your browser, we have not received your e-app.

7. For security purposes, you should exit your browser after receiving your confirmation.

8. If you are applying for multiple quarters, you must submit an e-app, personal statement and supporting documents for each quarter to which you want to apply.

(This will ask you to accept the 128-bit encrypted server certificate, please check "Accept Permanently", then click "OK".  At the next screen, click the "OK" button to finalize the process and gain access.  LawGonzales is correct regarding the domain name.)
