SECURITY

The library security system monitors material exiting the library. When materials have not been checked out properly and pass through the system, the alarm will sound.

If the alarm sounds as you leave the library, step away from the entrance and return to the Circulation/Reserve desk to have the materials properly processed. 

The security system does not interfere with pacemakers, hearing aids, tape recorders or computer diskettes. However, users of walkman-type earphones are advised to remove them when approaching the system.
