Professor Louis
Muldrow retired as a full-time member of the Baylor Law School
faculty in 2000 after teaching the Practice Court program for almost
twenty years.
Professor Muldrow
earned his J.D. with honors from Baylor Law School in 1958 after
receiving his B.A. from Texas Tech University in 1953. While a
student at Baylor Law School, Professor Muldrow served as
Editor-in-Chief of the Baylor Law Review.
After graduation,
he entered private practice with Naman, Howell and Smith, P.C.,
Waco, Texas, where he engaged exclusively in trial practice.
Professor Muldrow joined the Baylor Law School faculty in 1981 and
in 1983, he was appointed to the Leon Jaworski Professor of Practice
and Procedure Chair.
He continues to be
active in the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association, and
the Waco-McLennan County Bar Association, having served as president
of the latter association in the early 1970's. He is a Fellow of the
American Bar Foundation and is a Fellow of the American College of
Trial Lawyers.
Just before his
retirement in 2000, Muldrow was named the Baylor
Lawyer of the Year.
