Financial Aid Timeline
For Spring 2007 and Summer 2007 Applicants
December:
File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2006-2007
academic year using information from your 2005 income tax return.
January:
An award letter will be mailed to you when your file is complete. You will need
to review the award letter, sign one copy, and return it to our office. You will
need to complete one or more loan applications to secure the loan funds. Refer
to the brochure, Your Financial Aid Offer, for more detailed information.
For Fall 2007 Applicants
January:
After January 1, 2007, file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
for the 2007-2008 academic year as soon as your 2006 tax return information is
available.
March:
An award letter will be mailed to you when your file is complete. You will need
to review the award letter, sign one copy, and return it to the Office of
Financial Aid. You will need to complete one or more loan applications to secure
loan funds. Refer to the booklet entitled Your Financial Aid Offer, for detailed
instructions.
