Welcome to the Office of Admissions at Baylor Law School

Baylor Law School is small by choice with a total enrollment of approximately 400 students. Accordingly, admission to Baylor Law School is selective. Our small student body ensures that each student will obtain individual instruction and faculty mentoring. As a result, our students are among the most well-prepared law school graduates in the nation.

We understand that your decision about which law school to attend is an important one. As you make this decision, we hope you will consider what distinguishes Baylor Law School from other top programs in the nation:

· Baylor Law School has three entering classes - Fall, Spring and Summer.
· Baylor's record of success on the Texas Bar Exam is unsurpassed. We enjoyed 100 percent bar passage rate for the February 2007 exam. Our graduates have maintained an impressive passage rate for other state bar exams as well.
· 98 percent of our 2006 graduates were employed or enrolled in graduate programs soon after graduation.
· Baylor's advocacy program is nationally ranked.
· Baylor's rigorous Practice Court program, a required course of study, is unparalleled in providing students with the skills necessary to effectively represent clients upon graduation.

The best way to experience this unique program is to visit our state-of-the-art facilities, the Sheila & Walter Umphrey Law Center. We invite you to join us for one of our scheduled Visitation Days. However, you are welcome to visit the law school any time that is convenient to you.
