Technical Services
The Office of the Information Technology Coordinator provides
assistance and support for network, software, hardware, and any other
information technology needs of the Baylor Law School faculty, staff and
students. These pages have been designed to provide information that will likely
be helpful to those seeking assistance.
Students, faculty members or staff members who require additional assistance
should contact Rick Sowell,
Information Technology Director, at extension 4723,
Ricky Lovecky, Senior Systems
Programmer, at extension 2011, or Bill
Haberl, Senior Information Technology Associate at 709-0092. Mr. Sowell's
office is located in room 307, Mr. Lovecky's office is in room 305, and Mr.
Haberl's office is in room 304. These rooms are located on the third floor of
the law school within the computer labs.

Law School Technology
The entire library, patio and student lounge is serviced by a wireless network. Virtually every seat (approximately 1600) in the law school has a "hard wired Ethernet" local area network (LAN) connection. The LAN connections are Fast Ethernet connections which provide 100MBS connectivity.
There are 52 Pentium III and IV computers available for
student use in the law library. The library is composed of 2 labs, a small
instructional lab fully equipped with audio-visual presentation technology and a
large general computing lab.
